Baxters' Cattle Company would like to welcome you to our web site.
Each year Baxters' Cattle Company hosts several events - A series of Team Cattle Penning Shows throught the summer, as well as a Gymkhana Shows series, Team Penning performances at Exhibitions and Rodeo performances. In the winter we have 2 Man Ranch Sorting Fun Days.
Performance Quarter Horses
We raise performance Quarter Horses here in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Canada. Offering quality horses with exceptional dispositions, athletic ability and conformation sired by AQHA & NFQHA stallion Deer Run Badger Bar and out of performance bred broodmares, many with proven show records.

A Solanos Peppy San grandson, he is cowy, quick and athletic with a wonderful temperament. "Junior" has won numerous Championships and Reserve Championships in Team Cattle Penning and Barrels/Poles. Occasionaly shown in more events, winning Reining, Western Riding and Trail classes and placing well in Pleasure classes.
Junior is producing talented horses that are now currently competing successfully in Team Penning, Gymkhana, 4H - Western and English, Pony Hunter and Dressage. They have been winning High Point Games awards, Junior Novice 4H Championships, Reserve Champion Pony Hunter, as well as 4H ProShow qualifiying.
Our performance bred mares have been selected for their outstanding dispositions. athletic ability, and quality conformation. We have granddaughters of Doc O'lena, CD Olena, Doc's Lynx, Play Chex Rio, Doc's Hickory, Crackin, Dry Doc Freedom, Parsons Badger, Peppy Badge Olena, and King Hamkins Two.

Cattle
Our cattle herd consists of Limo, Charlois and Black and Red Angus cross feeder cattle. They are used for team penning shows, clinics and training. Sold each fall, they are soon replaced for the upcoming season. We also run a few cow / calf pairs as well.
